Tensiocoat Quartz Xtra
- Used as a decorative, moisture-proof protection of various construction materials such as brick, stone, concrete and all hydraulic or synthetic bound plastering.
- For limewashing facades, with no discolouration from moisture or rain.

- When dry the coating forms a protective layer that is as moisture-proof as a high-grade acrylic paint but also has the microporous and vapour-open qualities of a mineral paint. The result is an ideal protective layer whereby the treated material keeps its properties with respect to the moisture exchange with the environment. Even trapped water due to design or construction errors is able to dry without causing damage.
- Thanks to the tensio-active quality of the coating water and dirt do not penetrate the film resulting in a permanent unsoiled and easy to clean surface.
- The coating also forms a layer that is non-flammable and does not spread flames.

| Processing: | - Mix well before use. - Apply in two layers with a brush. - On masonry walls, a limewash texture can be obtained by using a long-haired brush. - Tensiocoat Quartz Xtra can also be applied as a single filler layer, after which it can be finished with Tensiocoat Quartz or Tensiocoat. - The normal drying time between two layers is 4 hours. |
| Consumption: | Recommended layer thickness: min. 1 mm to max. 3 mm per coat. Theoretical consumption: +- 0.5 -1 kg/m²/coat. When applying higher layer thicknesses, consumption may exceed the theoretical consumption. In practice, consumption depends on application, substrate condition and consistency. This can vary greatly. To determine exact consumption, a sample is recommended. |
| Colors: | White and light colours (P-Base) using the colour-mixing machine. For dark and deep colours, Tensiocoat Quartz Xtra can be finished with Tensiocoat Quartz or Tensiocoat. |
